Bio
I paint scenes of the bedroom, more closely studying bedsheets and looking at the trace of form within the sheets left by experiences of sexualisation and conformist sexuality. The curves and folds of bedsheets replace the overt sexuality of the figure and rather represent the curves and shape of the body that was in them, attempting to unlearn the pressure of conformity.
